The Sharing Expertise Group, an informal network which includes the Collections Trust, the British Museum, National Museums Scotland, National Museums Wales and a number of other national and regional organisations, has issued a Brief to Tender for a Consultation to identify and scope the requirements of UK museums for more coordinated approaches to sharing knowledge and expertise.

The Consultation will run over 3 phases between October 2011 and June 2012 and is expected to address the needs of communities in each of the nations and regions of the UK. It will complement the projects carried out by the National Museum Directors Conference (NMDC) and the Museums Association (MA).

Tenders should be submitted not later than 5pm on Friday the 21st October 2011.
