BSI / Collections Trust Code of Practice for Cultural Collections Management

The Collections Trust has worked in partnership with the British Standards Institute to develop an innovative new standard: BSI PAS197:2009: Code of Practice for Cultural Collections Management.
Produced in consultation with leading practitioners across libraries, archives and museums, this new standard provides a blueprint to enable senior decision-makers to take an integrated and strategic approach to the business of delivering next-generation services through Collections Management.

The Collections Trust has a limited stock of books published by its predecessor body MDA. These are available to order from the remaindered books page or from the Collections Link shop. Please note that in many cases the content of these publications has been superseded by updated advice available free of charge on the Collections Link website.
