“Collections Trust’s services are practical and relevant - because we have contact with so many people who look after collections we know what’s needed and how to deliver it.”

SPECTRUM Partners Scheme

The SPECTRUM Partners Scheme is an initiative aimed at organisations that produce commercial products based on the SPECTRUM standard.

Under the Scheme, Partners receive a commercial licence to reuse SPECTRUM, and can apply to have their software validated for compliance with the standard. Upon meeting the requirements of validation, products are eligible to be branded as 'SPECTRUM Compliant.'

Membership of the Scheme also enables companies to demonstrate their commitment to national standards and supporting museums in meeting the documentation requirements of MLA's Museum Accreditation Standard.

A range of key software and systems suppliers in the UK and internationally have already joined the Scheme and are working towards SPECTRUM compliance for their products.

We believe that by working together, the Scheme delivers real value to our Partner organisations and the sector.
