What we do

The Collections Trust offers professional support to people working with collections, wherever they are.

The Collections Trust exists to:

  • Connect people and culture
  • Set standards
  • Develop the workforce

UK museums, archives and libraries receive a significant amount of public investment, and the Collections Trust believes that everyone should have the right to access, use and learn from their collections.

The Collections Trust is a not-for-profit charitable organisation which behaves like a business. The organisation has over 30 years experience in the cultural heritage field and has an unparalleled track record of delivering quality products and services.

Our services include:

  • Collections Link, the national advisory service for Collections Management
  • SPECTRUM, the UK and international Collections Management standard
  • Revisiting Collections, a UK-wide programme of initiatives to engage people with collections

The Collections Trust is passionate about collections and people. On this website, you can find out more about how the organisation delivers its work and why it matters.
