The Collections Trust campaigns for the public right to access and engage with Collections.
We do this by:
- Promoting Best Practice
- Encouraging Innovation
- Representing the Interests of the Sector
Our services include:
- Collections Link, the network for people working with collections in archives, libraries and museums
- Standards, including the SPECTRUM standard and a joint Code of Practice with the BSI
- OpenCulture, a network of organisations in the Cultural & Creative Industries
- The Grid, a UK infrastructure for aggregating cultural content and sharing it with mainstream media
- Digital services, including guidance and standards for Digitisation and Digital Preservation
